NOT GUILTY!
Court case was moved to this date due to give people the time to get up from London and I can't thank the 4 witnesses enough who made the long journey up to Manchester. I won't name them but you know who you are, thanks.
To everyone else that helped with there witness statements of the chaos that day, much appreciated and I owe you one.
Over the moon to have the weight off my shoulders.
Thanks,
Tom.

Can people please stop replying to him, as eagle-eyed Trevor B (B for Bore) pointed out Tomo hadn't posted for 7 months (approx). An interesting stat from a interesting poster. He should be punished for that offence on its own

Tomo, good luck on the 15th.
To only hand over the prosecution evidence on the day of the court appearance loads everything in their favour and that's why many people don't plead on the day, citing that they want to review the evidence before deciding how to plead so twice as many appearances at the expense of the public purse.
It happened to me, but unlike you I had no witnesses whereas they had two independents, so I had no choice but to plead guilty to a Section4.
I got a £200 fine and a £120 victim surcharge.
The Magistrate briefly mentioned he could have imposed a Banning Order but I didn't get one and mine was outside a football ground an hour after the final whistle. .

Surely the magistrate could have just said you've had three weeks to get your shit together and thrown it out
'Just a statement from the copper' ? What a waste of time, energy and money

One Word, that may be true in magistrates courts, that's why it's best to go to trial if you think you have a good case, which is what's happening in this bloke's case

Unfortunately most courts do not accept that the beloved police maybe creative about their statements
"Its the worst trouble I've seen since...... " "I'm six foot three and I was in fear of my life" "I'm surprised nobody was very seriously hurt"
These are my 3 favourites
